We had an amazing experience with Toubkal Hiking Experts during our trek in the beautiful region of Mount Toubkal and Imlil. Our local guide was extremely professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the High Atlas Mountains. The whole journey was well organized from start to finish, including transportation, accommodation, and traditional Berber meals. I had an excellent experience climbing Mount Toubkal with Hassan as my guide. He is incredibly strong, experienced, and made me feel safe at all times, even in the more demanding sections of the ascent. Beyond his technical skills, Hassan is a genuinely kind and attentive person. He was always aware of our pace and needs, making sure the whole experience was both enjoyable and comfortable. I was in Morocco in late January / early February and wanted to do some hiking in the Atlas Mountains. There are a lot of trekking companies and I didn't know where to start, so I emailed a bunch of companies looking for information, and this was one of them. I'm really glad I emailed this company, because they made my 4 day trek amazing. Not only was Toubkal Hiking Experts the first to respond, but they also had the most detailed and personal response. Other companies sent form emails that were brief and weren't responsive to my inquiry, but the email I received from Said was response to what I was actually looking for. He answered all of my questions and came up with personalized trekking options based on my interests and the number of days I had available. He spent lots of time working through possible itineraries and making changes based on my concerns. His service was so much better than the other operators I was in contact with that I decided pretty early on that I would use this company. The guide the company provided (Mohamed) did a very good job.  He had a detailed knowledge of the trekking routes and suggested an alteration to the itinerary that wound up making the trek more varied and more enjoyable. He gave me information on the mountains I was seeing and the villages I was passing through, but for the most part he let me just enjoy my hike. He periodically made sure I was doing okay and asked if I needed anything, but he for the most part let me do my thing. It was a great balance between having support on my hike and being left in peace to enjoy my hike. He had a lot of knowledge about the area and answered any questions I had. He did a good job and I was very happy with the experience he provided. If you're thinking about hiking in the High Atlas region but don't know where to start, I'd highly recommend messaging this company. I'm really glad I did.
